RE and memasak:)

Assalamualaikum..

I have been hoping to update my blog since last Thursday but could not do so. The internet has been giving us problems since that day. Kadang ada, kadang tak de. Sekejap ada sekejap tak ada. When the mood comes to update, then the line tak ada. When I am in the midst of my sewing the line ada. Malas pulak nak berenti menjahit ...hilang mood jahit lagi susah. I have pujuk my friend to help me sew my REs into products. Alhamdulillah my 20 pouches are all done and ready to be shipped by tomorrow, that is if i managed to complete a special gift for the kakak yg order pouches tu..Insyaallah kak H. Nanti try to sew the small gift for you. This is her second order of the pouches. She has underestimated the numbers of friends that she wanted to give the pouches and Yasin and thus she ordered more so that none of them are 'kecewa' for not getting one. Thanks kak for your trust for me to sew the pouches for you. I hope there will be more to come, InsyaAllah.

Alhamdulillah for being able to sew quite a few more yesterday. But of course they are for the small poches for some other friends. I hope to do more today. The RE for frame oordered by someone, has been hanging on the chair in the sewing room for the past month. I do not know when I am able to complete it. She wants it sometime before Raya so she could frame it. InsyaAllah will try to get on to it soon

Yesterday as usual, I went to the Pasar Tani. Brought along about Rm180 and spent almost all. Tak pelaa. Banyak jugak yang dihangkut. Did not buy any breakfast but bought 3 packets of mee kuning and fried them. Alhamdulillah…Campak udang beberapa ekor and within minutes, the mee goring was done.

I ate alone as the kids were still in lalaland. If abang and Along were home, I am sure we would have it together. Yang lain memang late riser. Esp Angah…dia cuti betul…risau jugak bila tengok dia relax since PMR is about 3 months away aje. I managed to mereka a new dish for lunch.. I have been craving for masak lemak ketam tapi no ketam was available so it was udang masak lemak and ayam berlado dengan limau kasturi. Sampai meragam perut sebab banyak sangat makan cili api.

After lunch I was back at my fav chair. Alhamdulillah jahit lagi sampai maghrib sambil menonton ‘wayang’ by my bedside. Seronok enjoying life.

Abang arrived quite late. I was already asleep when he called me to pick him up. Ada 2 yang ikut. Tak berani jugak nak drive sorang. Dah past midnite.

This morning we went to eat outside. Ingat nak ke kedai kat Kemasik. Sedap roti canai dia but luck was not at our side. The shop was closed. Maybe the boss pegi KL kot nak tengok bola Terengganu vs Kelantan…harap Tganu menanglaaa..kot dapat cuti hari Ahad InsyaAllah - when this post is published...dah tahu pon Terengganu menang 2-1. Alhamdulillah....ingatkan dapt cuti tapi tak ada pon:)

As the kedai roti canai was closed we opt for MM punya kedai thosei ler...Oklaaa...

Alhamdulillah I managed to complete another piece while watching cerekarama last nite...Gambar dia next n3 lah ye...:)

Makan dan makan aje

Hmm...what to cerita...nothing much to write. as usual its about our family laaa...what elsekan:).

Mak called me 2 days ago. Senyap aje mak kata...lama tak call dia. Everytime I called home, abah will be the one answering the phone and mak was either busy in the kitchen or elsewhere:). Bukannya tak call..mak je yang bz he he...:)

We called her last weekend to wish her happy birthday. The three or 4 of us, me , abang, hakim and maya. We called her and on the phone speaker and we sang. She is 67 years old now. Alhamdulillah still happy and strong and Alhamdulillah Allah is showering her and abah with His rahmah. Alhamdulillah...I did not buy any gifts for her this year...only my everlasting love for dear mak...or InsyaAllah I will give her a telekong which a friend from Indonesia gave me last Feb which mak admire so much. I think it will fit her nicely..:)Will wait till she comes here or when I meet her in Kuala Lumpur. Time period is unknown to me:)

I do not know why, I have been hungry most of the time nowadays. esp when I come back from the office. yesterday was the 2nd time I felt hungry. Angah wanted to cook some nasi goreng...dengar dia cakap nak buat nasi goreng pun dah rasa muak sangat. I asked her to prepare bubur ayam and at around 720pm when I was about to get up from my wing chair near the bed ( this is where i usually sit bz with my RE) to prepare for maghrib prayer, Angah came with a tray of bubur ayam and a tumbler of cold water. So, makan laa dulu sambil intai2 Nora Elena. the bubur was good. i even helped myself with another 1/2 portion of the bubur. alhamdulillah..kenyangnya..Alhamdulillah..

I completed the tudung cream for kak hanieliza...ampun kak ..it took me 2 long years...tapi ni baru je start semalam...yang 2 yrs ago tu masih tak siap lagi:). I hope she will like it:)





Today bibk prepared nasi ayam. Sedap nasi ayam bibik. Memang bibik udah pas kalo mahu buka gerai nasi ayam di jakarta nanti bik. Habis lah semuanya di makan oleh mak dan anak2 mak yang lagi 3. Penghibur hati mak....I miss my Abang and my eldest baby...Tak sabar nak bersama2 kembali:)



Tonite, hasrat hati nak jahit apa ye.? belum plan lagi. mungkin matikan jahitan2 RE yang dah siap tu..masih banyak juga yang belum berjahit dan harap2nya rezeki maklang sentiasa mencurah...Amin...

It has been very hot since the last 2 days. I am hoping for a downpour so that at least the heat will be lessened a bit. A little bit of rain will not diminish the heat but in fact will bring out the heat from the ground. I thought it rained last night when I was doing my RE, but it did not. The aircond was @ 16degrees celcius, and the ceiling fan and stand fan in my room was at full blast! Alhamdulillah ...I was comfortable and almost fell asleep at around 11:30pm with Nora Elena still playing @ tonton.com.my. Did not bother to watch the TV as it is being aired around maghrib time. I was also busy tring to complete a bag for a friend. That bag was done in a super-hurry mode as she needed it by Friday. InsyaAllah I will post it by today. Then I will have to go to the MM to pay the car loan. Kalau buat 2 hari lepas, tak payah nak berkejar ke sana. Nowadays, since Abang is not around, malas nya lah nak keluar. I dread going to the sundry shop. Tak kuasa. If there's no bread in the house, then I will ask bibik to prepare some kuehs or other food. Or else, I will do it myself.

I came back from the office feeling so hungry, yesterday. Put down my bags and went into the kitchen. Put the kuali on the stove and washed the mee kuning. The mee kuning has to be washed properly as it contains a lot of 'kapor' ..apa ke nama omputih dia. Dan2 lupa..Cepat2 gorengkan mee sebungkus and ate in the kitchen. Alhamdulillah rasa dia ok..Macam mee mamak pulak:) Lama tak makan mee mamak. Bila makan mee ni teringat kat my darling yang suka sangat mee basah2...I wished he was here to enjoy the mee mamak petang semalam:(





Alhamdulillah...Friday is only 3 days away... I am so eager to have my dear hubby back with me Insya Allah.

Along will be starting her first semester in matriculation next week. I just hope and pray to Allah that she is able to change her course to Sains Medical. If not , I hope she will be accepted in the UM...YA Allah...Kumohon di perkenankan doa kami...Amin

I miss them already:(

I have been busy the last two days. With Alang and the kids in the house, indeed it is a full house. Suddenly it is so so quite when Alang n kids, beloved Cik Abang and my baby girl have gone back to KL just a short while ago. How I wish I could follow them back. How I wish it is already time for us to move to KL and live together again without having to be separated during the weekdays and meet only during the weekends. I know, the hearts grow fonder when we are apart, but somehow it hurts everytime dear hubby has to leave us on Sunday nights in order to be in KL from Mondays till Fridays. I am always eager when Friday comes...eager to have him around me. I guess life has its up and downs. For us, it is like a 10 year cycle! Last 10 years pun Abang had to work it KL and left us here as I am working here. 10 years before that, at that time we just got married, he had to leave me with my dear SIL, as he was seconded to Miri!


I hope and pray that all my beloved will have a safe trip back to KL. Jangan bawa laju2 tau:(. I miss them already. I wish time will fly fast so that Friday will come soon, InsyaAllah...

Yesterday, I spent most of my time in my room. What else if not RE-ing. There's so many to be completed. I completed the RE for 2 bags yesterday! Alhamdulillah.

We had lunch di Dungun. Kawan Cik Abang masa dia buat MBA di Uitm Dungun ada buat khenduri kawin for his eldest daughter. kenyang laa makan gulai daging. Alang pun enjoy makan, walau seciput aje..

Later in the evening, a Dr. friend came to pick up a set of 6 cushion covers which I had just completed. Lama nya nak siap. If I am not mistaken, she ordered about 2 rayas ago...punyalah lama. Finally they are all done and she liked them very much. She also placed a few orders lagi. Alhamdulillah.


Malam pulak, I did some sewing. i just had to complete the messenger bag yang Along nak. Sambil2 Alang tengok Cerekarama. Cuma early morning, late evening atau malam aje boleh menjahit sebab the sewing machine is located in the 'sauna' room .. panas betul kat situ. So dapatlah jahit separuh jalan malam tadi and dapat siapkan after breakfast tadi. Sempat jugak maklang siapkan beg utk Joy and the bags are all going to KL. Alhamdulillah Along suka messenger beg dia:)..boleh lah dia bawa ke kuliah minggu depan...




Pagi tadi pun sempat buat kan Alang mee bandung...:). Alhamdulillah dia suka. Abang ate a little bit sbb pagi dah kenyang makan nasi dagang Mek Wok kat Kemasik. Memang sedap sangat...:)

A blessed Friday

Assalamualaikum..

It has been a pleasant Friday for me. With my darling back home with us, the day seems to be brighter ( mmg bright and very panas!!). Today, unlike every other Fridays, I did not have to dothe groceries. Ya...Its pasar tani day where I normally will buy the fresh chickens, fishes, cockles, prawns etc to stock up for the whole week. We normally eat home cooked food. It is very seldom that we buy food outside. Although we've been here for more than 14 years now, the food that are sold here sometimes are not according to our liking...so what else...mak kenalah masak! But there is one stall yang we like which we normally buy our breakfast almost every Friday...:)

Today since Abang is around, dia lah yang kepasar. Alhamdulillah I could spend sometime to do more of my RE...he ..he..that was my planlah initially,...but looking at the mess I have made with my ribbons, I just could not sew anymore. I need to tidy up the ribbons first or else, the idea will not flow...especially now that I have a request for like 11 small tote bags ! Alhamdulillah...:).



Gambar lily ni tak tahu kenapa jadi macam ni...bila upload dia jadi memanjang pulak..anyway, I enjoyed doing this early this morning...first time buat lily guna manik yang macam tu..and I like it...hopefully akan improve lagi:)

I prepared lunch today. Lama tak masak. I have not been cooking for a week or so. Makan jelaa what bibik masak. Sometimes, the kids do complain..he he...Tak pelaa..sometimes, mak nak gak rehat. So, today was..Kerabu jantung pisang with sotong. Normally it is kerang. Tapi since Cik Abang tak beli, maka the recipe was changed. Ikan cencaru sumbat belakang with kicap cap kipas udang which is another fav dish for Abang and Hakim. Bibik fried some tempeh and mushroom. Sedap2 belaka. I was fasting so..masa they makan, I watched ajelaa..Alhamdulillah..




mula2 nak kasi rasa aje, tapi tahulah kerabu is his fav...so i asked Hakim to bring it to his abah




a small bowl of kerabu untuk 'rasa' and a cup of cold tea...:)



budak 2 ni macam belangkas...:) Alhamdulillah they enjoy each other company:)



Tonite Alang will be arriving here with min, bibik , Maya and Along. It will be a full house again. Alhamdulillah...Heboh and riuh lah the house dengan minmin...seronoks!


Can't wait for my baby girl and beloved sister to arrive. rindu kat mereka semua. Insyaallah all of us will livee closer soon...Yes...it will not be that far away, InsyaAllah..:)

Good and bad news

Alhamdulillah..Along is happier now, very much happier I must say. And I am feeling much better. I hope Along will excell in her studies and one day fulfill her ambition to become a heart specialist .. InsyaAllah...


she was so happy and hungry when Alang came with Maya and Minmin. They brought some spaghetti which Alang made earlier in the morning b4 she left for work. TQ alang...




Memang lapar sangat tu..

the above was written in morning...along just texted me about an hour ago telling me that her application to switch courses from Bio Science to Medic was not approved. My poor baby is very sad. I hope she will study very hard and get good results during her matriculation semester in order for her to get a place in the medicine Faculty, InsyaAllah. It has been her dream to become one, foll0wing the footsteps of her fav aunt Not much can be done at the moment. We can only pray and berdoa so that Allah will fulfill her wishes...Amin..

I have been quite busy the last few days. What else if it is not with my RE. There's not much happening in the house... The kids ( Angah, Hakim and Ucop), went to the movies yesterday afternoon. I sent them before I went to the office at 2:00 pm and picked them up at about 5:30pm. Thank you Aunty Saz, for purchasing the tickets for us. I will pay back the amount when I see you, ya:). thanks again..


Tonite i will try to complete a few more simple REs for the small bag which is due in July. Larat ke dak tak tahu laa...Almaklum baru lepas buka puasa ni...ada balance beberapa hari lagi. InsyaALlah, tomorrow I will be fasting again. 1 Rejab.. Thank you to that someone who reminded me a few days back. May Allah bless your soul:)

syukur....dia dah ok

Assalamualaikum...


Alamak leher ku makin senget rasanya...dengan jahitan yang tak surut ni...tapi Alhamdulillah kerana memberi rezeki..amin


Alhamdulillah juga kerana anankanda manja dah ok baaaanyaaaak hari ni. Agaknya dah dapat sesuai kan diri dengan suasana dan kawan2 kat bilik dia. Taklah dia rasa sunyi sangat. alang pun selalu datang tengok dia, so lagi lah dia tak sunyi kan...Alhamdulillah sangat pada Allah kerana memberi segala rahmatNya...Amin...:)


Semalam maklang tak jahit pun beg. Balik2 dari office hon2 kereta aja dari luar pagar dan datang lah berlari2 seorang gadis sunti nak ikut...sape lagilah kalau bukan Angah. Dah janji nak ke pasar malam sebab barang kat rumah dah banyak yang habis. kalau ikutkan malasnya nak berbelanja waktu tengah minggu. Biasa2 dulu masa tengah kuat, maklang pegi sendiri, tapi sejak lepas operate slip disc, maklang tak berani nak angkat berat2. semalam shopping ayam 4 ekor ( mcm nak khenduri), ikan tenggiri 5 keping yang besar2 tapak tangan tu..., ikan cencaru about 2 kg, dan beli sayur sikit. Sotong yang besar2 pun dibeli jugak. sekarang ni musim sotong rasanya. panjang sotong dekat 12-14 inci rasanya...lupa ..maklang beli jugak ikan pari..besar betul ikan pari yang ada kt gerai yang maklang selalu beli ni...tawkey dia pon dah kenal benar ngan kami...


ikan tenggiri rm22 sekg, ikan pari rm10 je. org kata ikan pari yang ada bintik2 ni sedap:)...


Kalau bab sayur kadang beli kat pasar malam or pasar tani atau kat supermarket. biasanya kat supermarket kat umah maklang, sayornya murah sikit...ingatkan petang ni lepas balik kerja nak lah menyinggah kejap.


malam as usual laa..mengadap jahitan yang tak surut:), malah bertambah...Alhamdulillah sangat kerana ini bakal menjadi sumber mata pencarian maklang tak lama lagi. Moga Allah beri maklang kejayaan dalam bidang ini...Amin...

Malam b4 tido maklang cek if anak dara sulong ok tak. Sempat cerita perihal angah cuba nak bawak kereta petang tadi masa nak ke pasar malam...belum apa2 bila kerete gerak sikit angah dah panic...mak...kenapa tak cakap if letak kat drive kereta ni akan gerak...laaa...kalau letak kat drive kete tak gerak, then tak payah lah naik kereta. b4 dok kat driver's seat bukan main lagi berlagak terrer...he he...angah..angah..Angah lah peneman mak sekarang ni bila Along dah jauh...:)
